Sweden’s Skåne region is rapidly gaining international attention as one of Europe’s most vibrant foodtech hubs, where startups, science parks, and global brands work together to shape the future of sustainable food.

Skåne is home to 100+ foodtech startups spanning the entire value chain — from alternative proteins and circular packaging to functional foods and digital AgriTech solutions.

These companies represent a new generation of innovators tackling climate challenges through technology, research, and collaboration.
