Registration deadline

Register your interest now or by June 14th to apply for financial support for your company. We review applications on a rolling basis.

*Eligibility for Financial Support

OpenTech offers financial support of up to SEK 10,000 provided by SME Beyond project, co-funded by the Interreg South Baltic Programme with funding from The European Union.

A limited number of SMEs can receive financial support of up to SEK 10,000 for participation in Smart City Expo World Congress. Selection will be made on an ongoing basis, subject to companies meeting the project criteria and demonstrating relevance and benefit from participation. 

To be eligible, companies must: 
• Be an SME offering a product (consultancy services are not eligible) 
• Operate within the thematic focus areas of the expo 
• Participate in Smart City Expo and relevant side events organized in connection with the delegation 
• Complete a post-event evaluation and feedback survey 
• Declare that the company is not in financial difficulty 
• Sign a de minimis declaration prior to participation 

Eligible costs may include: 
• Participation fees 
• Travel costs (roundtrip Sweden–Barcelona, business class not eligible) 
• Accommodation 

Final approval of support will be made in coordination with OpenTech. Reimbursement will only be made for approved costs against invoice and supporting receipts according to project rules.
