My competencies and professional background
Originally from South Africa, I have degrees in Journalism and in Psychology from Rhodes University in South Africa, and a Masters in Contemporary Media & Culture from the University of London. As a media professional, I have worked across newspapers, magazines, television and digital media, from the BBC, The Guardian and Press Association in London, to ELLE magazine in Johannesburg. In Sweden, I have had the opportunity to work within communications and marketing at pioneering organisations like Tetra Pak and the European Spallation Source, as an editor, storyteller and content strategist.
My role
I am responsible for storytelling, content management and editorial operations, which includes content strategy, all with the purpose of lifting up our region as an optimum location for business, investment and highly -skilled talent.
Fun fact not many people know about me
Before journalism, I was studying to be a physiotherapist. I am also an artist, and a food nerd who was once invited to audition for Masterchef!
